This tutorial had us create a virtual pet in scratch. I chose a dog. The dog had four different costumes which means it could face four different ways. I added a background of a boardwalk. I made it so that if you clicked the dog it would move in some way. The dog could also sneeze. I then added a doughnut for it to eat. I made it make a chomping noise when eating. The tutorial asked us to add something for the animal to play with. I added the tennis ball sprite for it to play with. The dog can't pick the ball up; it can really just run to it but I still think it is pretty cool.
